7 simple tips to to grow your business

There is no magic pill that you can take to grow your client base. Let’s be honest, if there was it would be in high demand and we would all be taking it. There are a few things that you can do to improve conversion and your overall local online marketing. Here are  7 simple tips to to grow your business .

Set up a 404 page – A 404 page is where people are sent when visitors land on a page that does not exist on your website. Adding a simple menu or a search option will help minimize lost opportunities.

Set up landing pages – having landing pages that are specific to what your site visitor was looking for will help increase your conversion rate.

Write content that is helpful – Sharing content that is all about us is our favorite kind of content. However, being helpful and establishing yourself as an expert in your field by providing useful information is a great way to engage site visitors.

Make your website responsive – Mobile Vs. Responsive. The choice is yours but for me there are more benefits to a responsive design( that is a topic for a different post). Making your website mobile friendly will make your site visitor’s experience hassle free.

Ask for referrals – Obvious but not often utilized. Call your existing client base and ask for referrals. You will be amazed at how people are willing to help.

Give referrals – Spread the word on what your clients do. Do it without expecting anything in return for your referral.

Cold call – I know, I lost you on that one because Cold Calling Sucks. Cold calling (or warm calling) is necessary to fill your pipeline and keep your business growing.

There are many methods you can put into action to grow your business that I did not discuss in this post. I will make sure to add more tips periodically.

Good selling,
Byron
